Wednesday Writing: 23rd March 2016

The idea of Wednesday Writing is to give you a prompt to write…anything! It can be a 100-word story; it can be a poem; it can be the trigger for the next section in your stalled novel; it can be for the plot of your next work. Sit down and write whatever comes out of your head!

This week’s prompt is the date. What happened on the infamous, never-to-be-forgotten 23rd March?

This week’s prompt is from Reddit: A recently retired supervillain tries to live a normal life, the world’s greatest superhero thinks he’s up to something, he really isn’t…

March 2016 meeting

The next Swindon Free Writers meeting will be on the 5th March 2016 from 12pm to 3pm.

It will be held at Brogan’s Cafe in Swindon town centre. The address is 12 Havelock Square, Swindon, SN1 1LE. Map link:  http://goo.gl/MtqIJD

The agenda includes writing discussions, a chance to talk about what you’ve read recently, and some time to work on your own projects – as well as a chance to meet other Swindon writers.

If you are a current member of SFW, remember to submit any work that you want critiqued to the forums, and mention what kind of critique you are looking for.

Hope to see you there!
