Wednesday Writing: 23rd September 2015

The idea of Wednesday Writing is to give you a prompt to write…anything! It can be a 100-word story; it can be a poem; it can be the trigger for the next section in your stalled novel; it can be for the plot of your next work. Sit down and write whatever comes out of your head!

This week’s prompt is a phrase: “I forgot. I’m sorry, I forgot. It…it happens so frequently these days.”

Wednesday Writing: 9th September 2015

The idea of Wednesday Writing is to give you a prompt to write…anything! It can be a 100-word story; it can be a poem; it can be the trigger for the next section in your stalled novel; it can be for the plot of your next work. Sit down and write whatever comes out of your head!

This week it’s one of Kate’s random ideas:

Cats have nine lives, right? Or at least can escape death nine times. But what if they can change the universe? Every time they have a brush with death, they can twist the fabric of space and time, tweak the strings of the fatelines to put themselves in a universe where they just escaped…

September 2015 meeting

The next Swindon Free Writers meeting will be on the 5th September 2015 from 12pm to 3pm.

It will be held at Brogan’s Cafe in Swindon town centre. The address is 12 Havelock Square, Swindon, SN1 1LE. Map link:  http://goo.gl/MtqIJD

The agenda includes writing discussions, a chance to talk about what you’ve read recently, and some time to work on your own projects – as well as a chance to meet other Swindon writers.

If you are a current member of SFW, remember to submit any work that you want critiqued to the forums, and mention what kind of critique you are looking for.

Hope to see you there!
